Greetings!

Hello, and thank you so much for dropping by.

I'm launching a new series of fantasy books. The first will be an introduction to my world, called The Emperor of Eyes.

It includes the title short story, a bedtime tale for a child that introduces us to the Veil and the Gifted; a novella about Marya, a woman with the Gift who has been living with grief and guilt, but who now has a chance to redeem herself; and a novel about a young girl, Amina, who is apprenticed to an old Sage when she is taken to the Prince's castle. There are dangers lurking there, and maybe not even her Gift can save her from them.

The tales of Amina and Marya are complete stories...but they are also a beginning to what could be longer tales.

I'd love to hear from readers which young Sage you'd like me to focus on first, as I enter our journey through this land of markets and Sages, of Princes and sailors, and of the mysterious Veil...

  1. Love your new blog. Replied to your tweet, then noticed you had already decided on a pen name. Books sound really interesting... :)

  2. I see you went through with your decision to try a new pen name. I told you before that I love your book covers, but this one might be the best so far. I'm really interested in Amina's story, especially because Amina is a quite common and popular name in my country. Plus, I've always liked old-master-young-apprentice stories. They usually have some nice twists.

Btw. It's me, @TheHarisColic from twitter.

    1. thanks for dropping by! (I'm moving, which is why it took so long to get back to you.) I love the name Amina. The names in the series are mostly Akkadian or Dilmun, or my slight modification of them.
